Campus Ministry at UNC Asheville: Great Things are Happening!
There’s a lot of excitement about the Presbyterian Campus Ministry at UNC Asheville these days. Students are receiving ministry and being equipped for ministry. Here are some of the highlights of our PCM:
- Weekly fellowship meetings at the campus ministry house that include Bible study, sharing, and caring for one another.
- Retreats in the fall and spring where students get to meet hundreds of other Presbyterian colligates from across the state.
- “Adopt a Student” Ministry where students are paired up with members and families from Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church and build relationships throughout the year.
- Mission and Service Opportunities through Outreach ministries of Grace Covenant, and mission trips sponsored by the UNCA Cooperative Campus Ministries
- Special Outings to help the group bond together and make memories!
- Participation in the life of a congregation as youth advisors, worship leaders, and helping with special events.
- PCM Leadership Team that works together to plan activities for the group throughout the year.
Here’s how you can help this growing ministry:
- Pray that God will continue to bless our wonderful students
- If you have students in your congregation going to UNCA, contact the campus minister, Rev. Bill Buchanan, to get them connected with PCM (bbuchanan@gcpcusa.org)
- Consider being a partner congregation that financially supports PCM at UNCA.
