ECO-PHONES: The terms of the program are as follows:

Cell Phones: EcoPhones is the only program that pays for EVERY cell phone regardless of whether or not the phone(s) work and regardless of whether or not the phone(s) are on our price list. Working phones are phones that power up, possess an undamaged LCD screen, make a test call and are not cracked or otherwise damaged. Non-working phone models that appear on the list will be credited 20% of the corresponding working phone price. Working and non-working phones not included on our price list will be credited at competitive prices.

Ink Jet Cartridges: EcoPhones is the only program that pays for EVERY ink jet cartridge regardless of whether or not the cartridge(s) work and regardless of whether or not the cartridge(s) are on our price list. We DO NOT accept laser or toner cartridges. (TIP: If the cartridge is larger than the palm of your hand it is not an ink jet cartridge.) EcoPhones DOES NOT pay for damaged, reconditioned or refilled cartridges.

DVD Movies & DVD Video Games: We Buy Used DVDs - All DVD Titles Accepted! We Pay Something For EVERY DVD Movie & DVD Video Game - Working Or Not! SUBJECT TO THE CONDITIONS BELOW WE ACCEPT AND PAY FOR ALL DVD MOVIE & DVD VIDEO GAME TITLES. Working DVDs are Region #1 DVDs (North America) that do not have any marks or scratches on the 'play' side of the DVD and must include the original DVD case along with all cover art and liner notes. DVDs stamped 'Promotional' will be accepted, however, 'advance' or 'screener' DVDs are not accepted. Non-working DVDs are DVDs that contain scratches, 'pin' holes or other defects that render the DVD unplayable. 'Super-Value' DVDs (DVDs that retail for $5 or less at the Dollar Store, Dollar General, Wal-Mart, etc.) are also classified as Non-Working. We DO NOT accept laser discs. We DO NOT accept DIVX ('burned') DVDs. Pirated DVD copies will not be accepted and may be reported to law enforcement officials. No Adult XXX-rated DVDs will be accepted. Currently we do not accept Computer CD-ROMs or Music CDs. Currently we pay $1.00 per Working DVD. Non-Working DVDs will be credited at a reduced rate, i.e. 10% of the Working DVD Price. DVD prices are subject to change.

Laptop / Notebook Computers: We pay something for every laptop / notebook computer - working or not! We DO NOT accept desktop / tower computers & monitors. Working laptop / notebook computers are computers that power up (must include battery) and all of the following are undamaged: hard drive, floppy drive (if applicable), CD drive, DVD drive (if applicable), all ports, screen, latches, and are not cracked, 'locked' or otherwise damaged. Non-working laptop / notebook computers or those with excessive cosmetic damage will be credited at a reduced rate, i.e. 20% of the working laptop / notebook computer price.

MP3 Music Players: We pay something for every MP3 player - working or not! Working MP3 players are devices that power up (must include battery) and all of the following are undamaged: data port, microprocessor, memory, digital signal processor (DSP), display, playback controls, audio port and amplifier. Non-working MP3 players or those with excessive cosmetic damage will be credited at a reduced rate, i.e. 20% of the working MP3 player price.

Digital Cameras: We pay something for every digital camera - working or not! Working digital cameras are cameras that power up (must include battery) and all of the following are undamaged: memory, flash, microprocessor, display and playback controls. Non-working digital cameras or those with excessive cosmetic damage will be credited at a reduced rate, i.e. 20% of the working digital camera price.

Batteries: These are the most toxic components of consumer electronics. Please send all the batteries you collect to us to be properly recycled. People often have additional batteries and these should be included with the items.

Other Items Collected: Digital video recorders, camcorders, picture frames, GPS devices, portable DVD players and video games consoles.

Accessories other than Batteries: Please do not send chargers, cases, earpieces, etc.

Commercial Disposal Disclaimer: EcoPhones can only support these programs on the basis that a reasonable proportion of the donated items can be refurbished and/or recycled for reuse. As such, this program is designed for individuals and any old or used personal use consumer electronics they may have in their possession, or may obtain as donations from other individuals. It is not intended as a means by which commercial enterprises or other organizations can dispose of large quantities of consumer electronics that are only suitable for disassembly and reclamation.
