Presbytery of Western North Carolina

Presbytery Office Reopening!

Beginning June 1st, the Presbytery office will reopen to visitors! We do ask that you continue to observe the appropriate protocols when visiting (i.e., sanitize your hands, wear a mask, socially distance, etc.) and to please stay home if you are not feeling well. The safety, health and wellness of everyone is first and foremost in our minds, so we are taking this step cautiously and will re-evaluate this change per the CDC and state government officials' guidance if needed.

´╗┐We look forward to seeing you soon!

Campus Mission

Three of the nine Presbyterian related colleges and universities in North Carolina are within the bounds of our Presbytery: Lees-McRae College at Banner Elk, Montreat College at Montreat, and Warren Wilson College at Asheville.

In 2015, the Presbytery established a UKirk Campus Ministry at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee.

A Presbytery Committee – the Campus Mission Committee – provides resources to support, encourage, and interpret the work of ministry of these campus ministers and chaplains.

You are invited to visit these campuses online and to communicate with these individuals who serve in the leadership of our ministries in higher education.
